When I'm not doing SLS things, I’m usually binging reality tv or reading, so if you ever need recommendations (or want to debate the latest Love Island finale), I'm your girl.

I am proud to serve as VP Internal on the SLS Executive Team. My goal is simple: to serve our student body with integrity, diligence, and reliability, and to ensure students remain informed about the Executive Team’s work, SLS events, and other matters affecting student life at the Faculty of Law.
Outside of SLS, I serve as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Alberta Law Review and as a caseworker with Student Legal Assistance. My time at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law has been one of growth, friendship, and learning, and I hope to help make that experience just as positive for others. So please feel free to reach out anytime with questions—whether about SLS, classes, extracurriculars, Recruit, or law school life generally!

Michael is a 3L in UCalgary’s JD Program. During Law School, Michael has served as 1L Student Rep, on Lounge Committee, as an SLA Caseworker, and as a member of several intramural teams. Prior to law school, Michael completed his BComm at UCalgary, where he also served as VP Academic of the Haskayne Students Association, alongside a role as Teaching Assistant. Outside of school, Michael enjoys to read and stay active!

Theshane holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) with a specialization in Finance from Western University. He is entering his third year at UCalgary Law, where he has served as a caseworker with Student Legal Assistance and sat on the planning committee for the annual ski trip.
Outside of school, Theshane enjoys intramural basketball, golf, travelling, and exploring Calgary’s food scene. If you have any questions about SLS, law school, or just want to chat, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Elaine completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario, earning an HBA degree from the Ivey Business School. She has a strong interest in business and is excited to explore opportunities to combine her business background with a career in law.
Outside of law school, Elaine enjoys watching movies and television, listening to true crime podcasts, and travelling. Her favourite trip so far has been exploring Southeast Asia, and she's always looking forward to planning her next adventure.

Lily is a proud Winnipegger and University of Manitoba Bachelor of Commerce graduate, now taking on 2L while serving as SLS VP Marketing. She can usually be found bouncing between intramural soccer, volleyball, and basketball, mooting, or somehow convincing herself she has time for one more thing (including running the Law Yearbook!).
Outside of school, Lily loves hot Pilates, thrifting, painting and cooking, and is always down to try something new. She loves meeting new people and will almost always have something to say, so come say hi if you see her around campus!

Hi all, my name is Alex and I will be your VP of clubs for the 2026/2027 academic year. I am originally from Toronto and found the clubs offered at the University of Calgary Faculty of law gave me an opportunity to make friends and meet new people. I have plenty of hobbies to keep me busy including baseball, hockey, working out and MTG (IYKYK). If you have any questions or concerns regarding the operation of our clubs, I’m your guy!

Calais holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Haverford College in Philadelphia, PA. She has served as a caseworker with SLA, as the SLS 1L Rep, and is an enthusiastic member of the intramural soccer team. Outside of school, Calais can be found playing (more) soccer, participating in various mountain sports, watching the Bills, or lounging with a coffee in hand.

Johann Danielson (3L)

Johann earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Operations Management from the University of Alberta after completing his first two years at Red Deer College. He has been involved in PBSC for the past two years and will return as part of the Wills Clinic again this year. He is an avid member of the Ambulance Chasers volleyball, dodgeball, and basketball intramural teams and loves attending student events.
Outside of Murray Fraser Johann enjoys golfing, playing more volleyball (sometimes on the beach), skiing, exploring the mountains, and board games, likely all with some friends.

Amelia holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western University. During her first year of law school, she was involved with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Energy Law Club.
When she's not studying in the beautiful law library, Amelia enjoys workout classes (especially spin), hanging out with her dog Winston, and drinking too much coffee (or the occasional Diet Coke).
